CPSYC 2022 Chair's Message

The CPSYC 2022: 11th International Congress on Clinical and Counselling Psychology will again provide a stimulating discussing environment for current cutting-edge research, emerging trends in different domains of psychology and related disciplines by clinical and counselling psychologists, practitioners, students, and researchers around the world.

CPSYC Organisation Board and Programme Committee are working hard to make the 2022 Congress a resounding success. This year’s major theme “COVID-19: Psychological adaptation and implications on mental health”. We therefore encourage submissions that tackle the CPSYC 2022 major theme from wide range of psychological functioning. However, submissions on other topics in the field of psychology are also welcome.

The 2022 Congress will provide excellent opportunities for participants to exchange ideas with each other during the virtual oral presentations. It will facilitate discussions, including challenges to clinical and counselling psychology; it will provide an international forum for scientific debate and constructive interaction. Furthermore, it will provide a platform for educators, researchers, students, and practitioners to present their work; exchange knowledge, ideas, and experience; and identify solutions to existing challenges in clinical and counselling psychology. Doctoral candidates are particularly invited to present and discuss their research ideas and work in progress.

CPSYC 2022 welcomes papers from the following and related topics such as addiction studies, anxiety disorders, depression, neuropsychology, psychopathology, psychotherapy, telepsychology and telehealth and so forth.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the CPSYC Abstract Book (ISSN: 2301-2226), a serial publication registered with the International Centre for the Registration of Serial publications in Paris. The CPSYC 2022 Conference Proceedings will be published online in a PDF and Epub format and will be available in digital format at the British Library Collection. Once published, it will be submitted for evaluation and possible coverage in Web of Science Core Collection™ Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Sciences & Humanities (CPCI-SSH) and Google Scholar and deposited in the CLOCKSS archive. Selected papers will be published in the peer-reviewed The European Journal of Social and Behavioural Sciences.

We look forward to meeting with colleagues and friends—old and new—during 2022, November.
